Job Description
· Help planning and implementing the daily programing schedule
· Create and implement lesson plans, drills and games
· Create a safe and fun environment for all participants
· Maintain supervision of participants at all times
· Provide a positive and professional relationship with staff, kids and parents
· Encourage positive social skills and appropriate behavior by example
Qualifications
· Must be 18 or older
· Must have a High School Diploma or GED
· 1 year of experience working with children preferred
· Ability to lead kids and staff in games, drills and general programming
· Ability to supervise and interact with kids and staff
· The physical ability to lead in group activities and to perform related physical skills
· Ability to act swiftly and calmly in an emergency
· Ability to maintain safety policies and procedures
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· CPR/AED and First Aid, must include both Adult & Infant/Child, certified upon hire and must be from one of the following:
o American Red Cross
o American Heart Association
o American Safety & Health Institute
